At Thompson Hospitality Law, I bring together two worlds: over three decades of hands-on experience in New York City’s restaurant and hospitality industry, and a seasoned career as a civil rights and business attorney.
I started my journey in hospitality the old-fashioned way—washing dishes, working the line, and eventually leading teams in some of the city’s most iconic venues, including Café des Artistes and the Grand Tier at the Met. I know firsthand the passion, pressure, and risk that go into running a restaurant, bar, or café in New York.
As an attorney, I’ve spent years representing clients in high-stakes litigation and business matters. I founded Thompson Hospitality Law to serve the unique needs of hospitality entrepreneurs.
